In the tier 1 division, the winner between Progressive Auto Sales and Sev-Con, both tied for first with 12 pts, meant their team would advance to the Alliance house league championships held in London in April.

These teams were tied at one apiece after 20 minutes of play; however Progressive capitalized on a pair of power play goals in the second frame to take a 5-3 lead. The teams exchanged goals in the third period resulting in a 6-4 final favouring Progressive. Leading the offence for Progressive was Lucas Ross with the hat trick. Tyler Oudman supplied a goal and an assist and teammates Clayton Peters and Matthew Vandenberg also tallied once. Rylan Lebeau and Nathan Moro each garnered two assists and Tyson Passingham, Mitchell Neal and Jamie Roberts each had one. Goalie Hendrik Lindout made 20/24 saves to backstop Progressive to the Alliance championships. Keegan Bressette answered with a pair of goals for Sev-Con while teammates Mackenzie Fiddy and Donny Stephenson notched singles. Rob Smith drew the only assist awarded. Nick Gardner was the busier of the two goaltenders stopping 27/33 shots. The teams have a re-match for the “A” Cup during final days.
