Optimist started the playoffs with a 4-2 win over Lehder.
Thomas Laevens lit the lamp twice for Lakeshore, including an empty netter, while Brayden Boere and Aiden Atyeo-Griffin were the other snipers. Matt Davis and goalie Nick Budded drew one assist apiece. Collin Zimmer answered with an unassisted marker for Lehder while Gavin Storozuk rounded out the scoring on a setup from Cody Lunn and Luke Vanderburgt. Both goalies Nick Budden (Lakeshore) and Cameron Stevens (Lehder) were solid between the pipes.
