Penalties for Fighting in House League Hockey
There were 2 fights at the end of last night's 7 pm midget/juvenile game; the participants have been suspended.
Fighting is discouraged in house league hockey; the penalty for the first incident is 2 games from the OHF Suspension List and 1 additional game from SHA. Second offenses result in a 4 game suspension from OHF and an additional 3 games from SHA. Third offenses mean an indefinite suspension from OHF and an indefinite suspension with a hearing from SHA. These guidelines will be strictly enforced.
