Vipers Strike in Wallaceburg
This weekend The Royal Blue Vipers made their way down to Wallaceburg to have a showdown in the Frank Dymock Classic

The Vipers went 3-0-1 in Round Robin, playing Petrolia LL Gray (4-2 W), Wallaceburg Lakers (8-0 W), Petrolia LL Blue (5-2 W), and the Lambeth Lancers (4-3 L).

Earning a berth in the Semi Finals on Sunday, the 2nd Place Vipers took a commanding win over Petrolia Blue (6-3 W).  On to the finals the Vipers had to again face the Lambeth Lancers for the title CHAMPIONS

Hard fought battles on the boards and in front of the net against a strong defensive strategy and a solid performance by the Lancer goal tender left the vipers virtually empty handed.  At the end of 3 periods the score was 4-1 for the Lancers.

Great effort by the whole team that never gave up even when facing roster losses due to a mysterious flu that took players, coaches, and fans late Saturday and Sunday!

The Vipers walked away with heads high, smiles being reflected off their shiny Silver Medals!

Good job to everyone who participated!  Thank you to all the fans who came to cheer them on.
