Jacob Wilson notched a goal and four assists while teammate Craig Vanderlaan earned a goal and three assists. Zach Roehler scored a goal and one assist. Ian Bailey and Carson Payne were the other snipers. Tyler Kapteyn chipped in with three assists and Vincent Lavoie with two in front of winning goaltender Nick Budden. Finding the back of the net with singles from Lakeshore Optimists were Mackenzie Fiddy and Nick Cooper. Maxwell Musico had a pair of assists and Fiddy also picked up one. Goalie Cameron Stevens faced a lot of shots during the contest. In game two, Cathcart Dental and Sarnia Cement skated to a 6-6 draw. Cody Lunn had a strong performance scoring a pair of goals and adding an assist for Sarnia Cement. Both Matthew Raes and Joshua Bressette rounded out the scoring with two goals apiece. Logan Harvey chipped in with three assists while Eric Duguay, Kyle Robertson and Tyson Passingham each had one. Dallas Henry lit the lamp twice for Cathcart Dental and Spencer Baillie scored a goal and added an assist. Mitchell Neal produced a goal and an assist while singles when to Evan Kwan and Steve Schaefer. William Lee, Tyler Oudman, Ben Pozdyk and Ben Wilson each garnered one assist. Goalies Colby Ramsdale (Sarnia Cement) and Daniel Brush (Cathcart Dental) made a number of quality saves in the hunt for a team victory.
