tier 1, Lakeshore Optimists doubled up on Sarnia Cement 4-2.
Both Jacob Serratore and Naaman Burwell notched a goal and an assist for Lakeshore while Curtis Steeves and Mackenzie Fiddy finished the scoring. Eric Capes assisted on two goals and Tim MacNaughton was also in on another. From Sarnia Cement it was Joshua Bressette and Damon Skinn-Wai who were able to solve Lakeshore’s goalie Cameron Stevens. Clayton Peters, Kyle Robertson and Matthew Desrosiers contributed one assist apiece while goaltender Lennox Jagoo gave a solid effort between the pipes for Sarnia Cement. In game two, a two man advantage late in the third period gave Lehder Environmental the 4-3 edge over Cathcart Dental. Collin Zimmer netted a pair of goals for Lehder while Mathew Dunn and Craig Vanderlaan (game winner) rounded out the scoring. Drawing assists were Zach Turner, Zach Roehler, Jacob Wilson and Conner Post all with one. Both Mitchell Neal and Brendan Bouterse answered with a goal and an assist for Cathcart Dental while teammate Spencer Baillie potted the other. The goalies Nick Budden (Lehder) and Daniel Brush (Cathcart) had outstanding performances for their respective teams.
