United Taxi picked up two valuable points after an 8-5 win over Plater Financial in the Sarnia Hockey Association Midget Tier 2 house league playoffs.


Jackson Fawdry and Tairen Snauwaert both scored hat tricks for United Taxi. Brad Aitchison earned a goal and two assists while teammate Aidan Griffin also added a goal and one assist. Thomas Laevens had three assists; Jaxson Nisbet had two while Hayden Snauwaert, Jacob Johnston and Andrew Wiebenga each had one. Goalie Riley Hall held on for the victory. Luke West answered with a pair of goals and an assist for Plater. Both Cole Brydges and Blake Freer had a goal and an assist while Kurtis Allardyce netted the other tally. Goalie Brett Kilner made a number of key saves. In game two, Logan MacKinlay picked up five points, scoring four goals, to help lead Electrozad Supplies to an 8-6 win over Dante Club. Cole Rogers scored a goal and added three assists while Michael Cotton scored a goal and added two assists. Austin Bishop and Richard Campbell rounded out the scoring with singles. Taylor Stafford was credited with an assist. Goalie Seth LeBlanc picked up his fourth consecutive win. Mateo Troiani scored a hat trick and added an assist for Dante Club. Dominic Krasinkiewicz scored twice and Evelyn Schlehauf tallied once. Bradley Cormier nabbed two assists and Alexander Dafoe and Alexander Newall both had one assist. Goalie Brett Kilner provided his services between the pipes for Dante Club in back to back games.
