Sarnia Hockey is looking for a HL Select Director to manage all select teams for 2022-23 Season
Sarnia Hockey will require a committed director to supervise and assist with the HL Select Program.
Duties will include:
· Observation of AAA, A/AA & MD Tryouts to report on the sustainability of HL Select in all divisions (U9, U11, U13, U15 & U18)
· Based on observations & interest the HL Select Director will be asked to recommend teams to the SHA BoD for approval
· Advise SHA BoD on any HL Select Policy Updates and motion to generate teams in accordance with SHA Policy
· Conduct the HL Select Coach Selection process in accordance with SHA policy
· Supervise and Assist coaches with team budgets, team scheduling and team selection
· Supervise and Assist coaches during the season with setting up exhibitions and attending tournaments
· The HL Select Director will not be able to participate as team staff in any capacity without prior approval from SHA BoD
The HL Select Director will be appointed to the SHA BOD as a “Director at Large” for the 2022/23 Season and will be assigned to oversee all HL Select Teams, Staff & Players
