5.00 OPERATING GUIDELINES AND PROCEDURES
SHA operates two levels of Representative hockey: A/AA (Seeded) and B/BB within the ALLIANCE Hockey network of Minor Hockey Associations (MHAs).

Only players legitimately registered (as per the Hockey Canada, OHF and ALLIANCE Rules) with SHA and currently residing within the Sarnia city borders are eligible to play on the A/AA teams. The only exception to this is that some A/AA teams may be able to select non-resident players (NRPs). See section 5.06 for details on the NRP program.

Only players legitimately registered (as per the Hockey Canada, OHF and ALLIANCE Rules) with SHA and currently residing within the Sarnia city borders are eligible to play on the B/BB teams. Players must attend tryouts for the A/AA teams to be able to participate in tryouts for the B/BB teams, unless approved by SHA and only under specific, pre-approved circumstances.
