Battle with the Bandits
The Atom A/AA Hockey Club travelled down the 402 to wage an epic battle with the London Bandits at Arygle Arena. The Sting came out firing & jumped on the hometown Bandits & held an early 3-0 lead. The Sting "thought" they had the game won, but the Bandits came out in the second period & battled back to even the score at 3-3 entering the third.
The Sting would not be denied. A excellent performance between the pipes from Luke Crombeen kept the score tied at 3-3. Crombeen making some very timely saves kept the boys in the game until Ryan Janssens could score the winner on a fortuitus bounce behind the unlucky Bandits netminder. The Sting earned a hard fought win from a tough Bandits squad.
