Two Win Weekend
The boy's played two tough teams this weekend and came out with two hard fought wins.
The first game was against a tough North London team. The Nationals jumped out to a two nothing lead in the first. Going into the second period the boy's kept on working hard and were were with two goals to even the game up. The goals were scored by Cam W. from Nathan O. and Thomas C. and Cam W. second goal was assisted by Zac M. and Nathan A.. North did score late in the second to go ahead by one going into the third. The third period the boy's scored quickly to tie it at three's. The goal was scored by Nick S. from Logan T. and Jason C.. North replied again to go up by one. The boy's kept on coming and were rewarded with the tying goal by Jason C. from Nathan O. and Lennox J.. The kid's kept up the pressure and got the lead with four minutes left when Zac M. scored from Logan T. and Nathan A.. Lennox J played hard keeping the game tight and was rewarded with the win.
The second game was against St. Thomas. It was a close game from start to finish. Colby R. played great making key saves to earn a hard fought win. St. Thomas jumped into the lead in the early minutes of the third on knuckle ball shot. The kids responded a minute later with a scramble in front of the net. Goal was scored by Nathan O. from Nathan A. and Nick S.. The boy's kept up the pressure and hard work. The game winning goal was scored with four minutes left with some hard work and players taking hits to make the play. Goal was scored by Zac B. from Jason C. and Casey V.
The boy's worked hard and should be tired after this weekend. Good Job Boy's.
