West London Tournament
The boy's played well in this weekend West London Tournament. Boy's still should be playing this Sunday if the bounces and calls were little bit more even.
The first game of the tournament started out with a bang. The boy's played a tough Erindale Spitfires team. It was scoreless after the two periods. But in the the third period the boy's erupted for four goals. The first goals was by Logan J. assisted by Casey V. and Zac B.; the second was by Jason C. from Logan J. and Gavin M.. Then third and fourth goals were scored by Nathan A. . The frist goal was assisted by Brendan B. and Joel S. and the last one was unassisted. Lennox J. stopped all the shots to get the shut out.
The second game the boy's had to battle a tough Brantford 99's AA team and the ref's. It was a tough chippy game. The boy's jumped out to two nothing lead by goals from Cam W. assisted by Logan T. and Zac B. and Nicki S. from Thom C. and Lucas C.. Cobly R. was in the pipes and was battling once again to perserve the lead. Then the second period came and Brantford and the Ref's took over. The 99's scored the next four goals . The boy's were short handed 10 of the 12 minutes of the period. Colby R. and the defense played hard to only be down by two. The third period started out the same as the second as we were in the box for the first six minutes of the third. But the boy's kept battling and were rewarded with a goal by Jason C. from Logan T . and Nathan O.. The boy's worked hard andshould have desreved a better outcome. Colby R. played great in keeping the game close.
The third game was against the London Bandits team who have played us hard all year. We only have one win and two ties against them. But the boy's played a complete game from start to finish. They out skated and out hit them from the get go and the boy's came away with 4 nothing shut out. Lennox J. got his second shutout of the tournament making the saves when needed. The goal scores were Nathan A. from Logan J. and Nick S.; Logan T. from Zac B. and Brendan B.; Cam W. from Logan J. and CaseyV. and the last one was by Nick S. from Nathan A. and Zac M. The quarter final game was a one nothing loss to West Mall Lightning. Colby R. Played great. The Boy's deserved a better outcome as they worked hard and left everything on the ice. The boy's played well.
