Jr Sting Nipped by Aeros
The Sarnia Bantam squad was on the road Thursday night and fell short in their quest for two points by a final score of 4-3.
After falling behind by three goals after two periods of play the Jr Sting Bantams woke up and battled to make things close in a game full of interesting calls, missed opportunities and failed time-out attempts.
Jake Wilkins made some acrobatic saves late in the game to give the Sarnia squad a chance to tie things up. Scoring were Jack Dunn, Zack Vanderwal and Justin Riley-Meyer with assists to Dunn and Vanderwal with 2 each and singles to Tyler Mclean and Morgan Halcovitch.
