JR Sting Score Late to Earn a Single Point on the Road
The Sarnia Bantams travelled to London to battle the West London Hawks on Wednesday night in the tight confines of the Kinsmen arena.  After coming off some tough games against AA conpetition at the International Silver Stick in Port Huron, Sarnia was ready to close out its last few regular season games with some wins to move up the standings.

The Jr Sting came out fast on the fresh ice and carried the play early but fell behind late in the first period after a Hawk powerplay goal. Sarnia would tie the game midway through the second, only to fall behind again late in the frame. The Jr Sting would pull out all the stops late in the third, searching for the equalizer and finally with only 4 seconds remaining and the goalie on the bench, Zach Vanderwal would fire in the tying goal, assisted by Justin Riley-Meyer and Tyler Mclean. Final Score 2-2. Scoring the first goal for the Sarnia squad was Nathan Cooper, assisted by Cody Nicolaisen and Emile Deshenes-Lebel. Jake Wilkins was strong in goal making a number of key saves on London power-play chances. The Jr Sting went 0-0 on their powerplay opportunities.....
