Jr Sting Stay Alive in Alliance Playoff Action
After falling in the first two games to the London Hawks, the Jr Sting Bantams were victorious in game 3 to extend the series. Trailing 4 points to 2 in the 'first to 6' playoff round matchup the Sarnia squad will look to earn victories in the next two contests to advance to the playoff finals.

Game 1 of the series saw a good effort by the hometown Sting but a hot London goalie and some missed opportunities resulted in a 2-0 final, including an empty net tally, for the visiting Hawks. Brody Dummitt was solid in net, Sarnia's top penalty killer, providing many great saves in a penalty filled contest.

Game 2 in London was a back-and-forth contest with London surging late in the second period on their way to a 6-4 victory over the Sting.  Scoring for Sarnia were Jack Dunn with 2 and singles to Jack Johnston and Zach Vanderwal. Picking up assists were Jacob Caughlin, Vanderwal, Morgan Halcovitch, Dunn and Kyle Vince.

Game 3, back at Clearwater arena was another low scoring affair with a late first period Sarnia goal holding up as the difference in a 1-0 victory for the Jr Sting. Dummitt was solid again in net earning the shutout, with Dunn, assisted by Vanderwal and Caughlin, providing the scoring.
