Byron Optimist Competitive Tournament

The Sarnia Jr Sting Minor Peewee MD competed in the Byron Optimist Competitive Tournament this past weekend. They beat Hamilton Huskies Blue 2-1 in their opening game Friday. Then Saturday they beat Vaughan Rangers Select 7-1 & Waterloo Ice Wolves 2-1 to finish 1st in the pool. They beat Hamilton Huskies White 4-1 to advance to the finals against our regular season division rivals London Bandits Black. The game was close with 3 lead changes we won 4-3 to win the tournament for our second tournament win of the season. Hard work paid off for the team this weekend.
