Sting Advance to West Alliance Championship
The Sarnia Sting Minor Bantam MD team has advanced to the West Alliance Championship which will begin on Thursday, March 26th, at the Sarnia Arena.
The Sting earned home ice advantage by placing first in the West Alliance playoffs and will face Oakridge (London) in the championship round. Both teams have qualified for the Alliance Provincial Championships to be held in St. Catherine's in April. The Sting earned their place in the West Alliance Championship by defeating the London Bandits while Oakridge earned their spot by defeating the North London Nationals. The championship round will consist of a race to four (4) points.
Thursday's game will take place at the Sarnia Arena at 8:30pm.
