Team Orange begins their 16/17 Season
The Scotiabank Bantam Orange Team #4 got down to business on Saturday October 1st for their first game of the season.
Team Orange played an exciting game against Team #6 (Yellow). Though they ended up on the wrong end of a 5-2 final score, the team showed lots of promise and room for improvement through practice. Nate Snauwaert scored the first goal of the season for Orange with the assist going to Michael Handy, giving Orange the 1-0 lead. Yellow responded with 2 goals in the 1st period, including a heartbreaker with 1 second left in the period. Michael Handy scored again for Orange to knot the game at 2-2. Yellow went on to score 3 unanswered goals to secure the 5-2 win. Brayden Bedard had a solid game in net for Orange, stopping numerous 2nd and 3rd shots.
