It is with heartfelt feelings that I have to
send this email. Some of you may have already heard the bad news about a
devastating event that has happened to the Jacklin family (Jacob #14)
from our team. Last week they were preparing dinner when a house fire
raged through their home and claimed everything they own. Jacob’s dad,
Matt managed to run back into the house to grab Jacob’s hockey equipment
before it caught fire. He told me that hockey is the one thing that
Jacob couldn’t live without. Luckily, Jacob and the rest of his family
including the dog made it out safely.
