Our team picnic was a great way to officially kick start the season! It was a great way to have everyone bounding together : players, parents and coaches. Players had a blast playing man hunt, grounders and that weird football game that lasted forever! Everyone's contribution made this a successful afternoon (bringing food and bbqs, outdoor chefs and games). I also want to take the time to especially give out a big thank you to Jen and Shelley for taking the lead in organizing this event. It was very much appreciated!
Upcoming Team events :
1) We have an exhibition game against Petrolia this Saturday, the 16th, at Sarnia arena, 1:30pm. It will be replacing the scheduled practice instead.
2) We will have a parent-coach team meeting at 12:30pm on Saturday September 16th prior to the game at Sarnia arena. We will take the time to convey some information relating to the beginning of the season and answer any questions you may have concerning the team.
3) For practices, please have your player arrive one hour before the start (7:00pm) as we are working on conditioning. This year, we do alternate between PASA (every Mondays) and Clearwater (every Wednesday). Both start at 8:00pm.
