2nd Regular Season Game
Hello Team and Parents, I apologize to any team family that did not know about the pictures this week as being the Coach that is my responsibility to inform everyone about team events. This week we have welcomed a new team member Ryson Payne and now have to say good bye to another team mate who is leaving our team Karrson Church, you will always be a friend and teammate , good luck this year.
This weeks game did not go quite as planned, so this one goes up on the board as a learning experience!! After the game the coaches did talk to the team about some position problems and the lack of shots on the other teams goalie. Our goalie sure had his fair share of shots stopped and some went by which will happen all year. Overall I do not see a big problem with our team as we have won this year and we will win again!!Going forward we will work with our players to resolve the minor issues and continue to have fun as after the game I asked if everyone had fun and did not hear 1 player say that they did not!! Once again we are a team who will win as a team and lose as a team but always have fun and continue to learn the game of hockey which we all love. This week we will all tape our sticks with green tape after practice to support Mental Health Awareness , hopefully everyone received that email. Now is the time to talk about some tournaments that we could be a part of and I believe we should be a part of. I will put a list of tournaments on our website that we can chose from or also you can see them yourselves on the Sarnia hockey website. Looking forward to seeing everyone at our practice Wednesday! Also after next weeks practice we are hoping to get everyone together for some pizza and some get to know each other time, we will let everyone know! Coach Mark
