Novice MD - Tier 2 Tryout
Hello Everyone,
My name is Kevin Philipsen and I will be one of the coaches for the Novice MD - Tier 2 team. Those players that are unfortunately not moving on with the Tier 1 process are to attend the Tier 2 Tryout. This tryout will be Thursday, September 12th from 6:30pm-8:00pm at Clearwater Arena (Red Rink).
Upon arrival, I ask that you sign-in your player at the sign-in table (front of the arena in the warm area, by the Red Rink) where your player will be assigned a numbered pinnie to wear for the tryout. After completion of the tryout, we will be collecting the pinnies to be returned so please don't go home with it.
After the tryout is over, myself and some of my coaching staff will be discussing which players will be chosen to play for the Novice MD - Tier 2 team this season. I know there will be a lot of hard choices as all of the players have done extremely well in the process so far.
I am also aware that there is Novice HL Evaluation skates, for those players not chosen for the Tier 2 team, on Friday, September 13th from 5pm-8pm so I will do my best to post our player selections in a timely fashion. Please remember that myself and some of my coaching staff, will be working very diligently to select the players that will best suit the vision of what we are wanting in our team moving forward.
Please keep posted to the Novice MD - Tier 2 team after our tryout is over for our player selections.
