Welcome to Lakeshore Optimists Team Red for the coming Rec hockey season. There are things that need to be completed below before ever stepping on ice.
THINGS THAT MUST BE DONE:
There is a mobile app that will be used this year to track the parent, visitor and player COVID screening questions. It will also show the team schedule, have the capability to do team chats, it removes the manual COVID screening, shows attendance and many other features. It is super simple to use, but everyone needs to get set up. As you may know, we have a web page for our division on the SHA website. On the home page, there is a form “U16/18/21 Sportsheadz data capture” that I need you to fill out. Please fill out all the required fields and Laura Beecroft will take care of the rest! Once you fill out the form, you will get an email from Sportsheadz with more information. If you don’t have it, please download and set up an account for the Sportsheadz app. To make it even easier, here is the link to the form:

All players at this age group must upload their proof of vaccine to the Sarnia Hockey Website. Don't forget any spectators/Guardians you add to the sportsheadz link about will need to show proof of vaccine before entering the arena.

The league has done its best to assign 4 evenly talented teams. The one thing to be clear is that if teams are not balanced convenor Laura Beecroft will adjust as necessary. Please have patience with us all to get the season flowing well. It is November 7th start date.
This teams parent volunteers priorities will be Fun and Respect for all players and officials on the ice.
