Final Tryout Results
First of all I would like to thank all players who came out this weekend. Everyone put in a great effort making the selection process that much more difficult.
You all played hard today and dealt with some difficult circumstances, but pushed through to adapt and overcome.
Unfortunately cuts have to be made, but this is not the end.
for the players not on the list:
I saw a ton of hard work and the ability to adapt to change better than I anticipated. Hockey is a 2 way game and sometimes you might be put in a situation your not comfortable with; we tested this today and there were 30 skaters who can honestly say that they can handle it. This is not the end for you, it's just a time for you to take a step back to improve and sharpen your skills as you move forward with confidence.
To the goalies who came out:
You all came to make the team and put in a huge effort. It was nice to see such a great effort and I look forward to seeing all 5 of you honing your skills to perfection. Each one of you made great saves and able to cover a large portion of the net making shots more difficult for your opponents.
