Hello everyone and welcome to the U9 Tier 2 tryouts! I am very excited to get this season underway and get back on the ice.
I kindly ask everyone to arrive at the rink no later than 30 minutes prior to the skate. This will give us enough time to get everyone signed in and give each player their jersey for the skate.
Unfortunately I think the numbers are fairly low for the first skate on Sept.27. We will still be running the kids through numerous drills to evaluate their skillset the best we can.
My plan is to focus a lot on skating the first session and also incorporate some skill work as well closer to the end.
All I ask is that each player pays attention to the coaches, works hard, and most importantly has fun.
