was a solid team effort from Lehder Environmental as they picked up their first
two points, snapping a four-game skid, in an 11-3 victory over Plater Financial
during the Sarnia Hockey Association midget tier 2 house league playoffs.
It was the first time this season that Lehder defeated Plater all season. Owen Kershaw enjoyed a five point night scoring twice and adding three assists. Both Gavin Storozuk and Brendan Bouterse also scored twice and garnered one assist apiece. Cody Lunn also found the back of the net twice. Collin Zimmer, Mary Smith and Seth Deelstra netted singles. Luke Vanderburgt earned a pair assists while Jessica Munday and Cameron Burke supplied one apiece. Goalie Cameron Stevens was solid between the pipes in the win. Plater Financial snipers were Jacob Cottam, Peyton DeMarco and Noah Veenendaal and Joshua Nethercott garnered two assists. Goalie Daniel Brush was the busier of the two net minders.
