Dante Devils Come Out Flying After Christmas Break
After a long 2 weeks without Saturday morning hockey, the Dante Blue Devils shook off the rust and put forth a great effort against TD Canada (Green) in SHA Peewee HL action.
Chris Blair led the way with a hat trick and an assist. Declan Ritchie added 2 goals and 4 assists in the convincing win. Other goal scorers included Chase Nickels (2 goals), Tyler Glavin (2 goals) and Mitchell Guerette. Assists went to Brent Menheere, Matthew Davies, Tala Snauwaert, Aaron Coene & Nate Snauwaert. Alex Van Sickle showed great hustle on forward and Nick Cotton played a great game on defence shutting down every scoring chance. Brayden Bedard registered the shutout in net making several key saves. Next weekend, the Devils face off against Jiffy Lube (Maroon) at 9 a.m., and then play again vs. Brooktree (Grey/Black) at 7: 30 p.m.
