Minor Peewee Goals and Tryout
Welcome to the Minor Peewee page!
I am Andrew Dunn, the coach of the Minor Peewee team this year.
The plan is to develop 17 players this year.
The team goals are:
1) To have a team capable of performing basics: forecheck, backcheck, breakouts, shorthanded play, penalty killing, power play.
2) To teach the players that practicing with game intensity is the only way to challenge themselves to complete at the highest level they are able.
3) To instill a sense of commitment, discipline, and accountability that will enable this group of players to realize their potential.
The first tryout is Tuesday May 5, 7:30 - 9 p.m. at RBC-rink 2. Other tryout dates are currently indicated as Saturday, May 9, 1:30-3 at Germain, Monday May 11, 8-9:30 p.m. at RBC-rink 1, and Tuesday, May 19 8-9:30 p.m. RBC-rink 1. Please check the team calendar website regularly for further tryout dates and/or any changes as exhibition games may be added. Please ensure you have completed the tryout registration process for this year, online, as indicated in the "tryout information" section on the Sarnia Hockey website, prior to the first tryout.
