Sarnia Hockey Association is committed to supporting players and families through every stage of their hockey journey.
In alignment with the Ontario Hockey Federation, important updates have been made to the Player Movement regulations to ensure fairness, consistency, and clarity across all Members and Associations.
These changes aim to provide improved guidelines for player transfers, support player development, and ensuring the sport remains fun, inclusive, and accessible for everyone involved.
At 11:00am Dec 17, the OHF announced a series of updates to Player Movement Regulations, effective for the 2025-26 season.
This announcement stems from the Saturday, December 14 Meeting of Members where there was a vote which was carried to remove residency regulations in Minor Hockey for the U10 age group and above in all categories from AAA to House League inclusive. ALLIANCE Hockey attended the meeting, provided feedback, and voted as directed by the ALLIANCE Hockey Representative Council.
