Select (Sarnia Hockey)

The Sarnia U10 Select team went undefeated through 5 games only allowing 3 goals scored this weekend to take home the GOLD at the Stoney Creek Winterfest tournament! This is the 2nd championship win for the Select team this season, congratulations to the team!  Our next team battle will be the Alliance Championship April 2-5th in Kitchener.

This past weekend, the Sarnia U13 Select team SWARMED Amherstburg, Ontario at the Inaugural Lake Erie Repko-Laframboise Select Tournament.

Congratulations to the U15 Sarnia Selects on winning 5 straight one goal games to take home the Championship.  They were the cardiac kids with three game winning goals with under 2 minutes left as well as battling back from being down 2 - 0 in the semis to win it with 17 secs left.  Coaches are incredibly proud of the kids for never giving up and battling to the final whistle. Never a doubt!

The U11 Sarnia Jr. Sting Select team went back into battle taking on the Chedoke Winter Classic in Hamilton over the holidays. With an impressive 21 goals scored over 5 games with just 5 goals against we brought home our second Tournament Gold Medals!!!

The U10 Sarnia Sting Select brought home the Gold this past weekend ! Sarnia competed in the Dan Pullham Tournament in London and went undefeated through all 5 games. Sarnia's net minder was solid all weekend, with two back to back shut-outs in round robin play allowing only 3 goals scored on throughout the tournament. It was a hard fought battle in the finals, with a rematch against the Heartland Dragon's ultimately winning 3-1 to claim victory ! Congratulations to the Team!
