Head Contact Incidents
In the month of January there were two incidents in the midget house league in which head contact resulted in two players receiving concussions. In both cases the instigators received Game Misconduct penalties and were suspended according to the Ontario Hockey Federation guidelines.
I have advised the Coaches that Sarnia Hockey will increase the OHF minimum suspensions significantly for any further head contact incidents which result in Game Misconduct or Match Penalties.
