The
Sarnia Hockey Association Midget house league resumed play-off action after
idling for two week due to the Boys & Girls Silver Stick tournament.
Mr. Sub doubled up on Pt. Edward Ex-Servicemen 6-3. Vaughan Degurse lit the lamp four times for Mr. Sub while Joseph Iaccino and Matthew Aalbers also scored. Drawing the assists were Jacob Ayers, Griffin MacLeod, Adam L’Heureux and Craig Birkhead all with one. In his second game of the night, goalie Nicholas Gardner (D&S Service Centre) provided his service in net for Mr. Sub. Matthew Clouse scored twice of Pt. Edward and Keegan Bressette was the other sniper. Ethan Kilbreath, Aaron Devereaux and Nathaniel Pozdyk garnered the helpers. Goalie Noah Caverly was very busy between the pipes for Pt. Edward.
