The
final play-off games wrapped up this past weekend and all championship
match-ups have been determined for the Sarnia Hockey Association Midget tier 1 house
league.
Both
Pt. Edward Ex-servicemen and Kel-Gor tied with 5 points apiece will compete in
the “B” Cup at 5:30 at C.W.B. while first place D&S Service Centre will be challenged
by second place Mr. Sub for the “A” Cup at 7:10 also at C.W.B.
Peter Raymo enjoyed a five goal game as D&S Service got by Kel-Gor 12-5. Ty Espinola also had a strong performance as he scored three goals and three assists. Jacob Serratore, Adam Kapteyn and Jack McAuley each supplied a goal and two assists while Nicholas Cooper netted a goal and one assist. Jake Trussler rounded out the scoring with one. Ashton Williams chipped in with a pair of assists while Cameron Vandenbossche and Ryan Smith each had one. Tim MacNaughton and Kristopher Meads answered with a goal and an assist for Kel-Gor while Ryan Nutt, Brandon Shanks and Hunter Smith also tallied once. Lucas Davis earned two assists and Marcus Cossa had one in their efforts.
