As you all know team pictures were not ready for the end of the season. Metcafe Photography is busy working to get the pictures done for everyone. Please watch the Sarnia Hockey website for pick up details in the near future. 

Tis the season which means the Sarnia Hockey Winter Classic is just about upon us. Volunteers are needed again this year to help make the tournament a success. If you are available to help please reach out to Jeff Fogal ([email protected]) the tournament director. It's a great opportunity for highschool volunteer hours.

There has been an increasing number of complaint this season within the U18/21 Division about on ice verbal abuse. It is understood though not condoned that chirping other players will happen within the game of hockey. However, it is not acceptable to use language that is demeaning, racial, abusive, discriminatory, vulgar, sexual or derogatory in nature while doing this. The officials have been notified to be on the watch and penalize the players as appropriate for this type of behaviour. Which may include players being suspended. I just wanted to thank all the volunteers this season. Without you sacrificing your time this season could not happen. Just a quick reminder to all of you that the VSC screening (pending or complete) must be uploaded to the OHF by November. This is a new step this year. If this is not done your team can not be rostered and you will not be permitted on the bench until it is complete. Thank you for taking the time to have this done as it is a time sensitive issue.
