5.24 CONTACT WITH REFEREES AND OFFICIALS
There shall be absolutely no contact, directly or indirectly, between coaching staff and the Bluewater Referee Association (BRA) or ALLIANCE Hockey regarding officiating. For issues regarding officiating of games or scorekeeping, the Head Coach should contact the SHA Director of Officiating to discuss the issues and if warranted the Director of Officiating will contact the BRA or ALLIANCE Hockey and will inform the SHA Board of Directors if required.
If a Coach has a question regarding a suspension of a player or bench staff, they should contact their appropriate Representative Team Director and explain the question or concern. The Director will then have a discussion with the Vice Chair Representative Teams or SHA Chairperson, who will if required, contact ALLIANCE Hockey to inquire on the situation.
