Sarnia Hockey is proud to announce we have been selected by Bauer, Hockey Canada, the National Hockey League (NHL), the National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA) & Alliance Hockey to host a
FIRST SHIFT PROGRAM for our community!
We are committed to providing an entry point for Sarnia-Lambton Area youth into organized recreational hockey
To be eligible for this program you must be born between January 1, 2014 and May 1, 2019 (Ages 6-10yrs Old) & have never participated with any Hockey Canada Organized Group or Association
This program is not gender specific - we accept anyone from anywhere within our community
Our focus is to provide the foundations and pathways for anyone looking for a place within the greater hockey community whether it is Competitive Sport or Recreational Activity
We want to introduce you to organizations that provide:
House League Hockey (Community In-house Leagues)
Local League Hockey (Inter-community Travel Leagues)
Competitive League Hockey (Representative Travel Leagues)
All Female Teams (House, Local & Competitive Leagues)

Welcome Event/Introductions to the Team
Head to Toe Equipment - Fitting Session & Demonstrations with Experts
6 - 1 Hr Ice Times - Consistent/Routine Time & Place
