News for returning Officials:
Returning Referees

Please watch your email and check back soon for the ALLIANCE Hockey Officiating Program Recertification Information.

Required Steps:
You will need to register and pay the recertification fee, complete the online refresher course/pass the online exam, and attend an in-person clinic. The date of the clinic is not yet scheduled, but is typically an evening session (2-3 hours) on a September weeknight.

Note for any officials (new or returning) age 18+: Please ensure you have a Vulnerable Sector Screening (ie. police check) completed and up to date as it is required in order to officiate.  There are longer than usual wait times to have the VSS completed, so it is recommended you do this as early in the summer as possible.

*The application period for 2025/2026 Referees & Timekeepers is now open.
Successful applicants will be contacted in early September with information regarding registration and clinics.
