U8 MD Tryouts/Schedule/Tournaments Agenda
Dear Parents and U8 Players,
I just wanted to give the families a projection into what this season is going to look like.
Starting on Sept. 3rd, 4th and 5th we have the U8 MD pre-tryout prep skates organized and ran by Darren Rogers and Sarnia Hockey that are available to sign up for on the Sarnia Hockey webpage.
U8 Tryout dates and ice assignments (please remember you must register in advance with Sarnia Hockey):
September 6th: 2:15 PM - 3:45 PM – Tryout 1 Clearwater Red
September 8th: 5:15 PM - 6:45 PM – Tryout 2 on Clearwater Red
September 10th: 5:15 PM - 6:45 PM – Tryout 3 on Clearwater Red
September 12th: 5:15 PM - 6:45 PM – Final Tryout on Clearwater Red
Please note that any communication will be made through this website and any players cuts/assignments will be communicated through this avenue.
The team selections will be completed after the final skate on Friday Sept. 12th and the team list will be posted on this site then. Players that are selected will be emailed and should be registered as U8 MD Sarnia players.
There will be a MANDATORY PARENTS meeting on the afternoon of Sat. Sept. 13th. Location to be determined. One or both of the parents of each player has to be there to go over team budget/sizing/and meet and greet.

Practices:
Mondays 5:00 - 6:00 pm @ Clearwater Arena
Wednesdays 5:00 - 6:00 @ Clearwater Arena
Games:
Saturdays @ 12:00 @ Clearwater Arena
Away games - will be scheduled on Sundays
Tournaments:
Burlington Jr. Raiders U8 Tournament - Oct. 17-19th 2025
Nazem Kadri North London Classic - Nov. 21-23 2025
Buffalo Outdoor Tournament - Feb. 6-8th 2026
Alliance Championships - Early April - Location TBD
