Minor Midget MD Team Stratford Junior Warriors Tournament Champs!!!
Submitted By Amanda Madere on Monday, October 1, 2018
The Minor Midget MD team played in the Stratford Junior Warriors Tournament Sept 28-30th. Playing a total of five games, they went home tournament champs!  Friday they were victorious 4-1 over New Market Redman and 8-1 over the Stratford Warriors. Saturday morning they played the Cambridge Hawks to a 3-3 tie and were victorious over the Barrie Colts 5-2.

Sunday brought a championship final game versus New Market Redman. It was a hard fought game in which Sarnia came back from a 1-0 deficit to win 4-1.  The boys played fantastic hockey all weekend in our first tournament of the season. All three lines showed balanced scoring all weekend which is great to see! Great job boys keep it up!
