NHL/NHLPA First Shift Program Coming to Sarnia!

It is with much excitement that The Sarnia Hockey Association announces the NHL/NHLPA First Shift Program is coming to Sarnia!  

If you know a child between the ages of 6 and 10 that has never been previously registered in minor hockey, this may be a wonderful opportunity for them! The NHL/NHLPA FIRST SHIFT program is designed to ensure a positive experience for new-to-hockey families. We want to take away any intimidation as it relates to equipment requirements, and/or rules of the game, remove potential safety concerns, and most importantly, provide an experience that is memorable and fun.  

The goal of the program is to show kids all that hockey has to offer them, their families and our community. The NHL/NHLPA FIRST SHIFT  program was designed to facilitate entry into hockey by offering a program that is ACCESSIBLE, AFFORDABLE, SAFE, and most importantly, FUN! We cannot wait to help your kids fall in love with hockey.

The program has a maximum capacity of 45 participants, 10 on ice instructors

There is a participant registration fee of $199 which includes BAUER equipment from head-to-toe!

Your child’s on-ice experience will include 6 weeks, 1 session per week, 1 hour on a consistent day and time.  The focus will be on fun and learn to play.  Insurance will be provided for participants.
