SHA Coaches Clinic Information

Coach’s Clinics for the upcoming season are now scheduled on the dates below. Please refer to the chart attached to identify what training you require to be recognized as a part of your team’s rostered staff this season.


Registration is not online – if you wish to register, please email SHA Director of Clinics, Jim Felton at [email protected]. Once you email, you will be registered for your respective day/weekend. Payment is due on the day of your clinic – cash or cheque (made out to Sarnia Hockey Association). The fees for each clinic are listed below – lunch will be provided.

Please be sure to bring your skates, gloves, stick, and a CSA certified helmet so that you are able to participate in the on-ice sessions (Nothing to be nervous about – we will take it slow!)

  1. Development 1 - September 7 & 8, 2019 classroom only 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, ice 1:00 - 3:00 pm - Location is Clearwater Arena, Lower Hall – Cost is $225 (SHA coaches will be reimbursed by the association)
  2. Coach 1 - September 14, 2019 classroom 8:00 am -12:00 pm, ice 1:30 - 3:00 pm (CWB) - Location is Clearwater Arena, Upper Hall – Cost is $85 (SHA coaches will be reimbursed by the association)
  3. Coach 2 - September 15, 2019 classroom 8:00 am -12:00 pm, ice 1:30 - 3:00pm (CWR) - Location is Clearwater Arena, Lower Hall – Cost is $125 (SHA coaches will be reimbursed by the association)

Please note that the sessions are open to coaches from other associations – this is not limited to SHA coaching staff. Please note your home association when registering.
