COVID-19 Update Regarding the Suspension Of Session 3 Recreational and Rep
Submitted By Amanda Madere on Thursday, January 21, 2021
Conveners, Coaches, Players and Parents,

At this time Sarnia Hockey has decided to suspend Session 3 of our 20/21 Season.  This is unfortunate but necessary due to the current situation in Ontario.  The Provincial Government currently has our region in lockdown and has issued a stay at home order. All Session 3 registrants will be receiving a 100% refund in the coming days.  Our volunteers will be working towards issuing these refunds in an organized and timely manner.  This will be a manual process for all 1000 participants.  If you have not received your refund by the second week of February, please contact your division convener and we will work through any potential problems.

Our programming may be down for the moment, but our main goal is providing a community activity.  SHA Directors will be working on alternative program plans, and if the opportunity presents itself before the ice is removed for the summer, we will be contacting all participants from Session 1 & 2 with opportunities to get back on the ice, get active, interact with our friends and above all have some fun

Recreational Programming is tentatively going to probably look more like Session 1, with the focus being on exercise and skill development.  Please watch the website and check those email accounts for updates.  Once we have a path forward set out by the province and municipality, we will get our programming back on track.
