Sarnia Hockey Association’s Instructional and Tyke Programs offer great ways for players new to hockey to be introduced to this great sport!

The 2015-2016 season will see players with 2010 & 2011 birth years being eligible to register for the Instructional Program.  With an emphasis on fun, the program focuses on fundamental hockey skills with some game time thrown in to keep up the tempo.  For the upcoming season, Instructional ice times of one hour per week are scheduled for Saturdays at RBC (days and arena subject to change).

Sarnia Hockey Association’s Tyke Program is designed for 2009 birth year players who have experienced the Instructional Program and are ready to take their game to the next level.  The Tyke Program involves two hours of ice per week on Saturdays and Sundays at RBC (days and arena subject to change). The Sunday ice involves game situations although score is not kept, focusing on fun and fair play instead.

Instructional and Tyke teams award a "Player of the Game" puck to a player each week.  Instructional and Tyke puck1.jpgare sponsored by Tim Hortons through the Timbits program.
