SHA's Linda Lauzon is Awarded the Alliance Award of Merit!
Submitted By Caroline Vallee on Saturday, June 4, 2016
Congratulations to Sarnia Hockey Association's very own Linda Lauzon, who was awarded the ALLIANCE Hockey Award of Merit.  She was given this prestigious award at the AGM Awards Dinner, held Friday June 3.

Award_of_Merit.pngThe ALLIANCE Hockey Award of Merit Award honours those individuals who have provided outstanding contributions, involvement  and service to ALLIANCE  Hockey. ALLIANCE Hockey Award of Merit recipients have displayed commitment to the ideals of ALLIANCE Hockey, have worked tirelessly for the improvement of the game at their local Association level and have had a notable impact on both the game and the players involved.  Awards  of Merit are awarded  by the ALLIANCE Hockey Executive Committee.

Linda has worked tirelessly for Sarnia Hockey for the last number of years as our ice scheduler.  She also fulfills this role for Lambton AAA.  Ice scheduling is a key role in the success of our hockey programs that involves may hours at the computer and interacting with other Alliance centres.  She along with our Chairperson, Mike Johnson, also represents Sarnia Hockey Association and the best interests of our community as a member of the City of Sarnia Arena Advisory Committee!

Congratulations, Linda!
