MBSportsWeb Announces Mobil Site Upgrades
Submitted By Caroline Vallee on Monday, June 27, 2016
Last week MBSportsWeb updated our website with changes to our public-facing mobile site – the one that is delivered when somebody visits the site on a phone or other device smaller than a tablet.

This notice lets you know what’s been changed so far and that there are more plans are for the next few months.

Why Are They Doing This? The MBSportsWeb platform has had a mobile-friendly(er) version that automatically displayed on mobile devices since before it was “cool” to do so.  Nowadays it’s essential to have access to the information on your website on any device (about 40% of all traffic on the network is mobile) and while the mobile site we created 10 years ago still worked, it was overdue for some tweaking to take advantage of newer & more powerful devices.  These updates will also lay the foundation for even more mobile-centric enhancements to the site going forward, and could also eventually become the key pieces of the next redesign for the desktop version of the site.
