Sarnia Sting Minor Novice Team Wayne Gretzky Tournament Finalists!
Sarnia Minor Novice MD had another strong tournament at the 2016 Wayne Gretzky International in Brantford, ON Dec. 27-30.
With an impressive record of 4-0 record in the round robin beating North London Nationals, Guelph Gryphons, Brantford 99ers and Stratford Warriors. The boys faced North London again in the semis, with a close 6-5 win to make to the finals.
Not surprisingly, Stratford was the opponent for the championship and unfortunately we fell short during the back and forth battle, losing 4-5. All the boys, had fun, played well and should be proud of themselves. Great job!
