Midget Divison, 2013-2014 (Sarnia Hockey)

The results of the Final Day games played on March 29th are as follows; "B" Cup    Lehder Environmental 7     Sarnia Police Assn. 4 "A" Cup    OPG Orange 3                  OPG Maroon 2 Thanks to the coaches, trainers, scorekeepers and timekeepers who contributed their efforts so the players could continue to play the games to the best of their ability. Thanks also to the parents and family members whose support makes all of this possible.

The playoff standings determine the opponents for Final Day. All games will be played on Clearwater Red rink on Saturday, March 29th. The "B Cup" begins at 1:00 pm - - Lehder Environmental is the home team and Sarnia Police Association is the visitor. The "A Cup" is scheduled for 2:45 pm - - OPG Orange is the home team and OPG Maroon is the visitor. These teams ended the playoff round tied with 12 points so a tiebreaker (head-to-head games - - Orange won 2 of the 3 games) was used to determine the home team for Final Day.

Final Day for the Midget House League Division will be held on Saturday, March 29th at 1 and 2:45 pm on the Clearwater Red rink. The final standing in the playoff round has not been set, so the game time for the teams on Final Day will not be determined until after the March 23rd games have been played. 

The playoff round for the minor midget division begins this Sunday, January 12th. The 4 teams will each play the others 3 times, with the final standings determining the teams who will meet on Final Day the last weekend of March (date to be finalized). 

As currently shown on the front page of the SHA website, the penalties for fighting in house league hockey have been amended. Penalties for the first offense are unchanged - - 2 games from the OHF suspension list and one additional game from SHA. Players with a second fighting penalty will receive a 4 game suspension from the OHF and will also be subject to a disciplinary hearing by SHA (in place of the previous 3 game suspension). As noted previously, the policy will be strictly enforced.
