U8/9 - Transition to Full-Ice Games, News, U8/9, 2023-2024, Rec (Sarnia Hockey)

The U8/9 Rec League is now moving to full-ice games for the second half of the season. All games will count towards determining our U9 League Champion, and our Alliance Championship Representative.

Some rules & procedures updates that everyone should be aware of moving forward:

-game times now start at 9am, 10am and 11am on Sunday mornings...these changes have been updated on our league/team calendars and in the SportsHeadz app

-games consist of 50 minutes of ice time that includes a warmup and three 15 minute periods (run-time), followed by 10 minutes for ice-resurfacing prior to the start of the next game

-results and standings will be updated on the league website as the season progresses
