Organization - Annual General Meeting Notice

Location: Clearwater Arena - Lower Hall
I want to inform/remind you that the Sarnia Hockey Association (SHA) Annual General Meeting (AGM) will occur on Tuesday, May 6th at Clearwater Arena. The purpose of the AGM is for;
1. Hearing and receiving reports and statements required by the Association at an annual general meeting
2. Electing such officers as are to be elected at such Annual General Meeting,
3. Appointing an auditor or person to conduct a review engagement of the Associations financial records,
4. The transaction of any other business properly brought before the meeting, and
5. Amending the constitution and bylaws of the Association.
To be eligible to vote at the AGM, a SHA Member must have attended two ordinary meetings in the past year. Board meetings are open to all members.
Members (those who may vote) are any person who has attended two meetings, and is:
1. is at least eighteen (18) years old,
2. is a resident of Lambton County; and
3. is a parent/ guardian, team official or volunteer with the Association.
NOTE: Sarnia Hockey Association has the following positions available for election at this meeting.
