Atom, 2013-2014, AA (Sarnia Hockey)

A big congratulations from the coaching staff to the team for qualifying for AA this season. We believe that it is important for the kids to understand what they have accomplished through their hard work and dedication.  We are very proud of all of them and hopefully we can continue to improve and compete at a high level in AA.

Now that our permanent practice schedule has begun we will be holding dryland before Tuesday practices and after Thursday practices.  Please drop off the kids Tuesdays at 6 for 25 min of dryland and we will get them to the dressing room from there.  Thursdays will be 20 minutes afterwards as usual.  Thanks for the co-operation. Just a friendly reminder that this Sunday is the last day for the coaches and assistants to re-tighten skates for the kids. Any kid at this point who can't do it must practice at home at night until they can.  The staff is going to refuse to help starting Monday. Anyone having trouble should consider wax laces as they stay tight after the kids pull on them, they can be more difficult to get off but easier to tie up.  The kids have been told repeatedly that if they cannot tie their own skates they cannot play, we think they all are ready.  Thanks for your co-operation. With the ice schedule as random as it is until Oct. 1 we will post our weekly schedule here to keep everyone as informed as possible.  Our schedule for the next ten days is as follows as well as the extra dryland training we hope to accomplish.  If anyone has any issues with the schedule please feel free to contact me anytime.
